For us the Additional space you get with the bigger Titan trailer from Eco-trailer didn’t out weight the towing efficiency of the Velocity IQ, its more aerodynamic and smaller frontal area really help with fuel economy which is more of an issue for Scottish based racers than our friends south of the border - it is always a much bigger journey throughout your season when you are based “North of the Wall”

Considering the bigger distances we travel, having an additional spare wheel we thought was worth the little extra, a new custom made “Up front” bracket was designed for our trailer and will now be offered as a dual option moving forward.

With the shape of the Velocity being more “pointy” than the bigger Titan trailer, we added dual access panels to the front quarters as it is not as easy to access the front of the car when loaded especially when you have the tyre rack in too, the access panels make it very easy to gain access to the tie down straps for the front wheels and also from a safety prospective its well placed to be able to open and chuck a safety stick …

The space at the front of the Velocity IQ has now been designed to facilitate a bespoke storage package incorporating 2x Jerry Can and multiple storage compartments with lips to stop the trays from sliding out in transit - the lowest cut-out allows space for an optional mechanical or Electric winch too.
