This trailer utilises PRG’s favoured configuration - Twin axle / 13” wheel combo. After extensive testing the Alco 1750kg hexagonal semi trailing arm fully independent axles, specified to PRG’s requirements when matched to the 13” low rolling resistance tyres produces the best fuel efficiency when towing, as much as 12 percent saving over other axle wheel configurations ! These axles are the best on the market in terms of high speed stability, low speed manoeuvrability, driver comfort and when matched to the 13” wheel - the feedback from professional commercial operators is this is the combo to use !
